Very rare Japanese antique ”one set of the yoroi & kabuto”.
The All complete set of yoroi.
Set contents : Rokujuni ken suji kabuto, Kawatsutsumi-okegawa-do
, Sode, Kote, Haidate, Sune.
Rokujuni ken akoda suji kabuto
(bowl helmet with 62 iron plates)./ (muscle) helmet.
With marked.
/ iron Japanese laquer.
Marked : 明珍 (Myochin)
Hachimanza is the place where gods dwell.
Maetate design: Kuginuki.
Meaning: Victory prayer. Conquered
nine castles, and win.
Reference./Busho of Kuginuki-mon :Mikami clan, Hori clan, Hitotsuyanagi clan, etc. many busho.
Kawatsutsumi-okegawa-do
:
Okegawa do composed of many pieces(small plates made of iron ) for increasing in strength or intensity . It wrap iron with leather, and painted Japanese lacquer.
Sode, Kote, Haidate, Sune
